Cannigione - Arzachena


In the northern part of Sardinia it is located Arzachena, a little village with just under 13 thousand inhabitants in the province of Olbia-Tempio and is in fact the most populous municipality in the Gallura
 
In Arzachena there are many interesting places : as regards the religious architecture it is useful to mention the four churches, two of which are titled to Santa Maria della Neve, one to Santa Lucia and one to San Pietro.
 
From the historical and archaeological point of view in  Arzachena there are several settlements dating back to the pre-Nuragic and Nuragic times; the territory of Arzachena is quite vast and entirely encloses the famous Costa Smeralda.
 
The coastal towns that follow one another along the coast of the territory of Arzachena are mainly Porto Cervo, Baia Sardinia and Cannigione and allow a very varied tourist offer.
 
If Porto Cervo is particularly coveted by the international jet-set and essentially attracts luxury-conscious customers, the other two locations still offer enviable scenic beauty and very good quality accommodation facilities at lower prices.
In particular Cannigione is a small little village of over 800 inhabitants and at the beginning of the 900th century it was born as a fishing village; today it is in full urban and demographic development thanks to the growing tourist flow.
