Insurance AGAINST CANCELLATION before the stay it covers only and exclusively people RESIDENTS IN ITALY while theMEDICAL HEALTH ASSISTANCE during the stay it is also extended to residents abroad.
La FORTY it is not included if not directly linked to one's own Covid disease.

We remind you that the BASIC fee is included in our registration fee. We recommend requesting the TOP rate when booking to obtain the following extensions of insurance coverage:

TRAVEL ASSISTANCE (including Covid) - recommended extensions included in the TOP QUOTA

Art.01 - OBJECT OF THE WARRANTY
The Company makes available to the Insured Party, in the event that he is in a difficult situation following the occurrence of a fortuitous event, and within the agreed limits, the immediate help services described below through the Organizational Structure made up of doctors. , technicians and operators, in operation 24 hours a day by calling the Turin number +24 39, by virtue of a specific agreement signed with UnipolAssistance Servizi Scrl, Corso Massimo d'Azeglio 14 - 10125 Turin. The Organizational Structure, on behalf of the Company, provides the following assistance services to the customers / insured travelers:

MEDICAL EXPENSES (including Covid) - recommended extensions included in the TOP QUOTA

1) SUBJECT
The guarantee has as its object the reimbursement of medical expenses, for health services resulting from accidents or illness, incurred by the Insured on-site visit, the need for which arises during the trip and which are indispensable and cannot be postponed upon returning to the place of residence. The society will provide with direct payment, subject to the authorization of the Organizational Structure, or will refund the expenses incurred on the spot upon presentation of the diagnosis and of the expense documents, within the limits of the following ceilings:
Italy: 1.000,00 euros
Abroad: 10.000,00 euros

ATTENTION!
For expenses exceeding Euro 1.000,00 however, the prior authorization of the Organizational Structure must always be obtained.

2) DEDUCTIBLE AND OVERDRAFT
The Guarantees / Services are provided with a deductible equal to Euro 50,00.

 

CANCELLATION INSURANCE FOR SERIOUS REASONS - recommended extensions included in the TOP QUOTA

D) BEHAVIOR IN THE EVENT OF A CLAIM
If an event occurs among those foreseen that makes it impossible to participate in the trip, the Insured, under penalty of forfeiture of the right to reimbursement, must scrupulously observe the following obligations:

1) Cancel the booking with the Tour Operator immediately, in order to stop the measure of applicable penalties. In any case, the Insurance Company will reimburse the cancellation penalty foreseen on the date on which the event that gave rise to the renunciation occurred; any greater portion of the penalty due following a delayed communication of waiver will remain the responsibility of the Insured.

2) Report the cancellation to the Company
- within 5 days from the occurrence of the event that caused the cancellation but no later than 24 hours after the scheduled departure date, must make the report to UnipolSai Assicurazioni SpA, by calling toll free number 800406858 active from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 19:30 and on Saturdays from 8:00 to 14:00, or by e-mail sinistriturismo@unipolsai.it or by fax 0517096551. The date of sending will be the date of the fax or e-mail. This report must contain all of the following information:
- name, surname, tax code, complete address of the domicile in order to be able to carry out any medical examinations and telephone if the insured can be effectively traced;
- travel and coverage references such as: booking statement or, in the temporary absence of the same, details of the insurance card or name of the Tour Operator and dates of expected departure of the trip that must be renounced;
- the description of the circumstances and / or the pathology that has occurred which force the insured to cancel,
- medical certification showing the pathology or, in cases of guarantee not deriving from illness or injury, other document proving the inability to participate in the trip. Even in the case of a telephone complaint the certifications must in any case be sent via e-mail or fax to the Company within 5 days from the occurrence of the event but no later than 24 hours after the scheduled departure date.

 

TRAVEL FEE REFUND (SERIOUS REASONS) - recommended extensions included in the TOP QUOTA

1) SUBJECT.
By the ceiling of € 500,00 per person and € 1.000,00 per event, the policy provides for the coverage of the unused portion of the cost of the trip in the event that the Insured, his family members or the traveling companion registered at the same time, are forced to interrupt it for one of the following reasons:
a) Medical return of the Insured (point 3 of the Assistance section) if prepared by the Organizational Structure as it was necessary for reasons of health / pathologies that in the opinion of UNIPOLAssistance are not curable on the spot;
b) hospitalization of the Insured that causes the trip to be interrupted;
c) early return due to the death of the family member or travel companion.
The reimbursement is equal to the cost of the missing days to complete the trip and is obtained by dividing the total cost paid, net of the registration fee, by the days of duration of the trip.
The refund will be issued only in the form of a "travel voucher" usable exclusively at the Tour Operator. The "travel voucher" is non-transferable, non-refundable and must be used within 12 months from the date of return.
In the case of simultaneous registration of a pre-established group of participants, the definition "travel companion" can refer to only one person.


 

CLARIFICATION
All insurance benefits have been reported here only to allow Messrs. Travelers to take advantage of the guarantees.
In any case, the originals of the contracts / policies deposited at the Contractor's offices will prevail.
