Porto Azzurro is a charming village dominated by the imposing Spanish fortress of San Giacomo and featuring a well-equipped tourist marina. The historic center is crisscrossed by picturesque streets where craft stalls are set up on summer evenings.
BEACH They are approximately 150 meters from La Pianotta beach. The first beach you come to when you arrive in Porto Azzurro is the sandy La Rossa beach, located at the entrance to the town. It offers free use of a beach umbrella and a deckchair, subject to availability. A sailing school with boat rentals is also located here. Following the seafront promenade, you reach La Pianotta beach, composed of gravel and bordered by large rocks, also suitable for sunbathing. Located outside the Porto Azzurro marina, there is a diving center nearby. A few minutes' drive away are other beaches of sand and gravel, such as Barbarossa, Reale, and Naregno, all with beach clubs alternating with public areas.
MACHINERY It features a shared swimming pool open from June 1st to September 15th (approximate dates) and free, unattended parking with limited spaces that cannot be reserved. The small town of Porto Azzurro offers shops for all your needs, including supermarkets, a pharmacy, banks, newsstands, numerous meeting places, restaurants, bars, pizzerias, and a coin-operated laundromat about 200 meters from the property. Paid parking is available nearby. Credit cards are not accepted.
THE APARTMENTS With independent entrance and covered terrace equipped with views of the swimming pool, it has Wi-Fi (7 GB free per week), air conditioning, TV, washing machine, microwave and column fridge.
